As we gathered around her with love and gratitude in our hearts, we said farewell to our mother and friend. We know she will continue to love and influence us for good. Her integrity and willingness to serve inspired those who knew her.
She served in leadership and teaching positions, worked in temple assignments, filled missions and was a wonderful companion to Dan.
Her husband: Daniel Leland Bates, The Children: Jacquelin (Kirk) Rasmussen, Valerie (Wesley) Ruff, Julie Ann (Steve) White, Cheryl (Gary) Bridges, Jeremy (Heidi) Bates, Chad (Jennifer) Bates.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 3, 2006, at 11 a.m. in the Sharon East Stake Center, 1060 East 2400 North in Provo. There will be a viewing held at the church one hour prior to the services.
Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
