EVANSTON – Graveside services for Earl H. Byrne, 70, will be held today at 1 p.m. at Fort Bridger Cemetery. Interment will be in the Fort Bridger Cemetery.
He died March 22, 1998, at the Evanston Regional Hospital.
He was born March 25, 1927, in Richland, Ore., the son of Myrl and Lavella (Decker) Byrne.
He married Nellie Ferguson in Mountain View on Cot. 7, 1953.
He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the National Guard. He served as a volunteer fireman for many years and loved collecting rocks and being with his family. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of Mountain View; three daughters, Ruth Barclay and her husband, Neta Byrne and her husband, and Joan Byrne, all of Mountain View; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and two brothers, Jack Byrne of Mountain View and Harold Byrne of Evanston.
