BYRNE, Mrs. Lavella E.,52, wife of Meryl Byrne, died Tuesday February 21, 1956 in her home here in Robertson after an extended illness. 

Mrs. Byrne was a member of the Methodist Church. She was born Sept. 3, 1903, in Richland, Ore., a daughter of O. W. and Henrietta Shelton Decker. She was educated in Richland. 

On Aug. 12, 1922, she was married to Mr. Byrne in Richland. They resided there until 1935, when they moved to Wyoming and lived on a ranch near Robertson, Uinta County. 

Surviving are her husband, three sons, Jack and Earl Byrne, Mountain View, and Harold Byrne, Evanston; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Woods, Richland, Ore., Mrs. Erna Steelman, Moses Lake, Wash., and one brother, Claude Decker, Halfway, Ore.

Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the LDS Ward in Mountain View by the Rev. J. Austin Lininger of the Evanston Presbyterian Church. Friends may call at the R. E. Bryan Mortuary in Evanston tonight and at the ward chapel tomorrow from 10 a.m. until services. Burial will be in the Fort Bridger cemetery.
