OGDEN – Mrs. Netta Cardon Stephens, 79, Ogden, died Saturday morning in an Ogden hospital. Born Aug. 23, 1884, Ogden, to John David and Elizabeth Neeser Cardon. Married to Joseph F. Stephens. Divorced. Hemstitcher, Pine and Hurst Department Store. Active member, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors: sons, Earl R., Kenneth R., both of Ogden; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, sisters, J. Roy Cardon, Pocatello; Walter A., Herman H. Cardon, Mrs. C. A. (Hazel) Coray, Florence E. Cardon, all Ogden; Ernest W. Cardon, Burley, Idaho, Funeral Tuesday, 11 a.m. Larkin Chapel of the Dawn, where friends call Monday, 7-9 p.m.; Tuesday prior to services. Burial, Ogden City Cemetery.

Netta C. Stephens
Mrs. Netta Cardon Stephens, 79, formerly of 721 Ogden, died this morning at the Weber Memorial Hospital in Roy.

Mrs. Stephens was born Aug. 23, 1884, in Ogden, a daughter of John David and Elizabeth Neeser Cardon. She was married to Joseph F. Stephens. They were later divorced.
She had been a hemstitcher at the Paine and Hurst Department Store in Ogden. She was active in the Relief Society and Primary of the Eighth Ward.
Surviving are two sons, Earl F. Stephens and Kenneth R. Stephens, both of Ogden; Five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, the following brothers and sisters; J. Roy Cardon, Pocatello, Idaho; Walter A. and Herman H. Cardon, Mrs. C. A. (Hazel) Coray, Miss Florence E. Cardon, all of Ogden; Ernest W. Cardon, St. George; Lawrence M. Cardon, Burley, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Larkin Chapel of the Dawn with Bishop Glen Teeples of the Eighth officiating. Friends may call at the chapel Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday until services. Burial in Ogden City Cemetery.
