IRENE HALL

BLACKFOOT – Irene Hall, 60-year-old Firth resident, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, from an apparent pulmonary embolism.

She was born April 21, 1946, in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Walter Earl Cardon and Venna Hokenson Cardon.

At the age of 8, she moved with her family to Blackfoot area where she grew up and attended schools. She graduated from Blackfoot High School and then continued her nurse training at Idaho State University.

She worked as a nurse in the emergency room of the Bingham Memorial Hospital for many years. She was also actively involved in the 4-H program and in the American Quarter Horse Association.

Her life was her kids, grandchildren and horses. She also enjoyed leatherwork and taking care of her home and yard.

Survivors include her four children, Tami Davenport, Pocatello, Carla Christopherson, Olympia, Wash. Jason (Carly) Webb, Firth, and Lucero Mitchell of Pocatello, five grandchildren, Courtland, Haiden and Macoy Christopherson, Sevin Webb and Quinton Mitchell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 2, 2007, in Blackfoot at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave. The family will meet with friends on Monday for an hour prior to services.

Interment will be in the Ogden, Utah, City Cemetery.
