OGDEN — William K. “Bill” Browne, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away October 2, 2002 at McKay-Dee Hospital from a heart attack.

He was born January 1, 1925 in Logan, UT to Walter C. and Mary Clark Browne. Later his family moved to Ogden, UT where he attended Ogden City Schools.

In 1943, he joined the U.S. Navy and served his country during WW II in the South Pacific until 1946. He was later in the reserves and served in the Korean War.

He married Marilyn Coray in Las Vegas February 5, 1947 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. They were sweethearts for 55 years.

He worked at Williamson Auto Body and later worked in jet test at Hill Air Force Base where he retired after 41 years.

He was a High Priest in the River Parkway Ward, and was a dedicated home teacher. He was loved by all and was the “fix-it” man for his neighbors, friends, and family. One of the most important things to him was his family and being of help to others.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Bonneville Dialysis Center and Dr. Harry Senekjian for their care over the past nine years.
