HEART FAILURE CAUSED DEATH
———-

Body of William D. Shaw of Seventh Ward Found in Clump on Floor of Woodshed
———-

The Lifeless body of William D. Shaw was found by Mrs. Shaw early Thursday morning on the floor of the woodshed where Mr. Shaw had gone a few minutes previous to get some kindlings for the lighting of the morning fire. Death is said to have resulted from heart failure. Funeral services will be held in Ogden today where the body will be taken this morning for burial. A short service was held at the residence in Seventh ward yesterday afternoon.

William D. Shaw and family moved to this city about four years ago, coming here from Ogden where they had conducted a merchandise business for the past twenty-five years. They had been eminently successful there but desired to make their home in Logan during their old age, where they could get the best in education and where they felt that their investments in real estate would be good., During the four years here Mr. Shaw has acquired considerable real estate and has one of the finest homes in the ward. As the family affairs in this city were getting nicely shaped in order to begin to live, the sudden death of Mr. Shaw comes as a great blow to the family.

Besides Mrs. Shaw there are seven children who survive their father. David Shaw, a young man well known here, also a son on a mission in London. Deceased was 59 years of age.
