WILLIAM A. CARDON, SR., 85, 1131 Duke Circle passed away Thursday. He had been a life time resident of El Paso and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He was retired Owner of Cardon Wholesale Lumber Company and a Cattle Rancher.
Survivors: wife Hettie Tenney Cardon; Sons W. A. Cardon, Jr., Hugh F. Cardon, Thomas Dean Cardon; Brother Harold Cardon all of El Paso; Grandchildren Yvonne Hutchison, Sharon Rasberry, Suzanne Malooly, Dianne Cardon, Deborah Landry, Dawn Cardon, Shon Benjamin Cardon, W. A. Cardon, III, Hettie Houghton, Vickie Brown, Dean Cardon, Frances Lupo, Denise Lupo, Alice Cardon, Hugh T. Cardon, Tom Cardon, David Cardon, Keith Cardon, Beth Cardon, all of El Paso, and Annette Cardon of Denver, Colorado, and Joe Martin, Jr., San Francisco, Calif.; 17 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by son Donald Clair Cardon, and grandson Donald Clair Cardon, Jr., and great grandson Raymond Rasberry.
Family will receive friends at Harding Orr & McDaniel, Pershing Drive Chapel from 7:30 to 8:30 P.M. Sunday. Funeral services will be held 10 A.M. Monday at Douglas Street, L.D.S. Chapel, Bishop A.C. Gonzalez, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers Charlie Brown, Hugh Thor Cardon, W. A. Cardon, III, E. C. “Ted” Houghton, Dave Jones, Don Jones, John Lupo.
