VIDA S. WADMAN
OF OGDEN DIES

Vida Shupe Wadman, 48, wife of James E. Wadman, 1483 Twenty-first street, died today in a local hospital after a nine days’ illness of pneumonia and complications.

Mrs. Wadman was born in Ogden, June 5, 1887, a daughter of Andrew and Harriet Andrews Shupe. She had lived in Ogden all her life, except for 15 years, when her family resided in Promontory. She was an active member of the Relief society of the L. D. S. Twentieth ward.

Mrs. Wadman is survived by her husband and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Alma Wright of Nafton, Idaho; Mrs. Harriet Cardon, Hansel Valley, Box Elder county; Byron, James, Vida, Valentine and David Milton Wadman, all of Ogden. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Boyd Shupe, Huntsville; Mrs. A. J. Gibson, Ogden; Mrs. C. E. Nelson, Portland, Oregon; Royal Shupe of Ogden. There are seven grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are under direction of Lindquist & Sons.

FUNERALS

Services for Vida Wadman, wife of James E. Wadman, were held Wednesday, in the L. D. S. Twentieth ward chapel, Bishop Arias G. Belnap officiating.

Musical numbers were furnished by Ada Eggington and Howard Shupe. Arvilla Arrowsmith played the accompaniment and also the prelude and postlude. Speakers were John R. Paul, Fred L. Peterson, Commissioner Edward T. Saunders and Bishop Belnap.

Invocation was offered by Frank F. Bowen and benediction was pronounced by Clinton D. Robbins. Elders of the Twentieth ward quorum were pallbearers and members of the Relief society took charge of the flowers.

Because of the late arrival of a sister from California, interment in Ogden city cemetery was delayed until today. Clyde A. Lindquist dedicated the grave.
