CEDAR CITY, UT– Thomas Bartlie Cardon, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin passed away October 24, 2000 at his home in Cedar City, Utah.
Tom was born on December 30, 1930, in Logan, UT to Thomas B. and Florence Sutton Cardon. He was the oldest of three children. He married his high school sweetheart Mildred Sargent on May 26, 1951, in the St. George LDS temple. Together they raised six sons.
Tom is survived by his wife Mildred, sons Thomas B. (Suzette), Phillip Gene (Silvia), Michael Scott (Lynne), Alan David (Christa), Craig Sargent (Aleese) and Ronald Sargent, 21 special grandchildren including one great-granddaughter, and a sister Suzanne (J. Clair) Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother David.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2000, at 11 a.m. at the Cedar 7th Ward LDS Chapel.(256 S. 900 W.) Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Southern Utah Mortuary. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery. (435) 586-4040
