Funeral services for Tharol “Ted” Eric Dean, 60, Superior, were conducted Aug 18 at the Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston.
Mr. Dean died Aug 14 at the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born Nov 3, 1921 in Woodruff, UT to Thomas and Clara Olend Dean.
He married Helen Hinshaw on Apr 1, 1945 in Evanston. They were later divorced and Mr. Dean married Hazel Crowser on Oct 12, 1968 in Fort Bridger.
He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of V.F.W., Eagles, the Carpenters’ Union and the LDS Church.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel of Superior; two sons, Gary and Tharol “Ted” Dean, both of Evanston; one daughter, Cristi Kae Dean of Lander; three stepsons, Melvin Wolf of Rock Springs, Marvin Wolf of Riverton and Myron Wolf of Superior; four brothers, Guy Dean of Lyman, Thomas L. Dean and Delos Dean of Evanston and Errol Lagrand Dean of Twin Falls, ID; one sister, Mrs. David (Theora) Jones of Randolph, UT; and nine grandchildren.
