Tawna Storey Weight, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away November 7, 2008 at home in Spanish Fork, Utah, at the age of 64, following a long battle with muscular dystrophy. She was born October 19, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Mary Josephine Sharp and Print Edward Storey II. She was a graduate of Granite High School and attended Brigham Young University. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and spending time with her family.

She married Don Roger Weight June 26, 1965. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she served faithfully in many auxiliary callings, including president of the Young Women, Primary and Relief Society. She was also a member of the Deseret Flower chapter of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother, Terrell Brent Storey. She is survived by her husband, children: Sean (Karen) Weight, Aimee (Brian) Smith, Brandon Weight, Trevor (Shannon) Weight, Natalie (Bruce) Luke, and Derek (Chanla) Weight, and 12 grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Monday, November 10, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Walker Mortuary, 187 S. Main, Spanish Fork. On Tuesday November 11, a viewing will be held at 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., and funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Palmyra Stake Center 550 E 900 N., Spanish Fork. Interment at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
