Susette Fletcher Budge Ingram, 85, of Idaho Falls, passed away Nov. 20, 2010, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 1, 1925, in Logan, Utah, to Calvin Fletcher and Susette “Zettie” Ricks Fletcher. She grew up and attended schools in the area. Following graduation from Logan High School, she attended Utah State Agricultural College, now Utah State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in education.
On Aug. 1, 1947, she married Rex Budge in the Logan, Utah, LDS Temple. Their marriage was blessed with five children: Seth, Marilyn, Lynn, Rodney and Jim. Rex preceded her in death in 1973.
On Feb. 16, 1991, she married Barton W. Ingram in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple and extended her family with the families of Joyce, Larry, Carol and David. Susette was a mother and homemaker as well as an elementary school teacher for 23 years in the Ammon, Idaho, area. She was also a piano teacher.
Susette was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in numerous callings including church organist, accompanist for many organizations, temple worker, Cub Scout leader, and served an LDS employment mission with her husband, Bart. She enjoyed sewing, cake decorating, quilting, reading, music and traveling with her husband.
Survivors include her husband, Barton Ingram of Ammon; children, Robert Seth (Brenda) Budge of Hilliard, Ohio, Marilyn (David) Anthony of Santaquin, Utah, Lynn (Janice) Budge of Sandy, Utah, Rodney (Jeanene) Budge of Salt Lake City and James (Sheree) Budge of Alexandria, Va.; stepchildren, Joyce (Allen) Fife of Pleasant Grove, Utah, Larry (Diane) Ingram of Idaho Falls, Carol (Dennis) Dennett of Idaho Falls and David (Tammie) Ingram of Saratoga Springs, Utah; brothers, Robert Fletcher of Ogden, Utah, and Joseph Fletcher of Eagle Mountain, Utah; sisters, Edith Francis of Canada, Margaret Marshall of Mantua, Utah, and Beth Snow of Deweyville, Utah; 27 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rex; her parents; five brothers; and four sisters.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at the Ammon 3rd Ward LDS church building, 2150 S. Avocet St., with Bishop Sidney Beattie officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, and from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday prior to services at the church.
