THATCHER – Services for Sophronia L. Clawson, 87, who died Feb. 12, 1983, at Tucson Medical Center, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Caldwell’s Chapel of the Valley, 112 E. Main, Safford.
Mrs. Clawson, a native of Arizona, attended the Gila Academy, was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and taught Sunday school.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan Gordon; two sisters; a brother; two grandchildren; and two great-grand-children.
Caldwell Funeral Home in Safford handled arrangements.
