Mrs. Sarah Clayton Burningham, 39, wife of Clifford Lester Burningham, died at the family home in Orem Friday night after a few days’ illness from pneumonia.

Mrs. Burningham was born in Mexico, August 17, 1904, a daughter of George E. and Edith Cardon Clayson. She married Mr. Burningham June 27, 1923, in Salt Lake City, and has lived in Orem ever since. She was active in L. D. S. church work.

Surviving are her husband and the following children: Barbara, Betty Jean, Clifford L. Jr., Lamar and baby Leland G., all of Orem; her mother, Mrs. Edith Clayson of Provo; one brother, Joseph Clayson of Salt Lake City, and four sisters: Mrs. Edith Robinson of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Annie Brown of Trenton, Utah; Mrs. Florence Chappell and Mrs. Fay Richin of Provo.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 o’clock in the Sharon ward chapel, with Bishop J. Clayton Watts in charge. Friends may call at the Claudin ?Funeral home Monday evening and Tuesday Morning. Interment will be in the Provo City Burial park.

Sarah Clayson Burningham

PROVO-Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Clayson Burningham, 39, wife of Clifford Lester Burningham of Orem, who died Friday, will be conducted Tuesday at 9 p. m. in the Sharon L D S ward chapel.

Mrs. Burningham was born in Mexico August 17, 1905, a daughter of Geroge E. and Edith Cardon Clayson. She was married to Mr. Burningham in Salt Lake City June 27, 1923. They had resided in Orem since that time.

Surviving are her husband, her mother, two daughters, Barbara and Betty Jean Burningham; three sons, Clifford L., LaMar and Leland Burningham, all of Provo; a brother, Joseph C. Clayson of Salt Lake City, and four sisters, Mrs. Annie Brown of Trenton. Mrs. Edith Robinson of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Florence Chapple and Mrs. Fay Richins of Provo.

Friends may call at the Claudin /Funeral home Monday evening and Tuesday until the time of services. Burial will be in Provo city burial park.
