Ryan Morton

While finalizing his preparations to serve an LDS mission, our dear son Ryan was called home. In his short time with us he proved to be an extraordinary individual. He had a quiet strength that buoyed all those who knew him. He worked hard at all he did and never thought twice to reach out a helping hand to someone in need. He loved those around him completely and didn’t let a day go by without somehow reminding us of his love.

Ryan was born October 22, 1985, the second child of Loren and Rachael Morton. From the beginning we knew he was a miracle; and that every day spent with him would be a blessing. He shared a very close bond with his sister, Melissa. Some of his happiest moments were spent fishing with his dad. He also loved spending the day on the paintball or Frisbee field, or kicking back with his friends on the X-Box.

Ryan graduated from Hunter High School and spent one year studying Criminal Justice at Salt Lake Community College. He was an Eagle Scout, and loved his days spent in scouting.

Ryan is survived by his parents and sister; grandparents, Loree Morton (Pleasant Grove, UT), and Fred and Cathy Roberts (Toronto, Canada); many aunts and uncles, cousins, and countless others who will cherish his memory always.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 26, 2005, 12 noon at the Memorial Ward chapel, 4251 South 4800 West.
