Rites Friday For Mrs. O. G. Cardon
Ruby Nebeker Cardon, 79, widow of O. Guy Cardon, died suddenly Wednesday evening.
She was born on June 6, 1889, in Laketown, a daughter of Ira and Delia Nebeker. She attended the BYC and UAC in Logan and worked as a secretary at the UAC and in Washington, D.C. for Attorney Frank Nebeker, prior to marriage to Mr. Cardon.
They made their home in Logan where Mr. Cardon was manager of the Bluebird Cafe.
Mrs. Cardon was always a gracious homemaker and a kind and considerate friend.
Surviving are the following children: Alice Cardon Belliston, Stuttgart, Germany; Ruby Leith Marshall, St. Paul, Minn.; Guy N. Cardon, Logan; Sidney B. Cardon, Portland, Oregon; Carolyn Packerd, Walnut Creek, Calif.; Pauline Whitehead, Logan; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The following sisters also survive, Ella Parker, Bakersfield, Calif.; Effie Lane Jardine, San Antonia, Tex., and Laura Torgensen, Denton, Tex.
Funeral services will be held at Hall Mortuary Chapel Friday at 11 a.m.
Friends may call one hour prior to the rites. Burial will be in Logan Cemetery.
