Ruby Byrne Todd
Mrs. Ruby Brown Byrne Todd, 79, of 1945 Wall, died Friday morning in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Todd was born Nov. 8, 1888, in Ogden, a daughter of James and Eliza Ellen Stowe Brown.
She was married to Louis P. Byrne on May 7, 1907. He died in 1944. She was married to Matthew R. Todd on Dec. 21, 1946, in Ogden.
She had been employed by the Deseret Industries and the Dee Hospital.
Surviving are her husband, the following sons and daughters: Phillip E. Byrne, Clarence R. Byrne, James B. Byrne, Mrs. Edith Clark, Mrs Mary Ellen Lynch Barker, all of Ogden; Lewis D. Byrne, Tacoma, Wash.; 35 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, the following stepson and stepdaughters: Raymond M. Todd, Mrs. Lue S. (Lucille) Birch, both of Ogden; Mrs. Warren S. (Evelyn) White, Clearfield; Mrs. Boyd R. (Wanda) Morris, Rigby, Idaho; Mrs. Bernice Holman, Granite City, ILL.; 14 step-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Walter M. (Rosabell) Stark, Mrs. Eliza B. Pilcher, both of Ogden; Mrs. Ella Mae Skaigires, Mrs. Myrtle B. Monroe, both of Pocatello, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Larkin Chapel of the Dawn with Frank L. Horspool of the 3rd Ward Bishopric conducting.
Friends may call at the mortuary Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday after 12 noon. Burial in the Ogden City Cemetery.
