Of Benicia Dies
At M. I. Hospital
Robert Winton Brown, 54-year-old Benecia resident, died yesterday in Mare Island Naval Hospital where he had been a patient for the last month.
Brown, a veteran of World War I and II, had been employed at Benicia Arsenal for three years, going to work there after his retirement from the Navy. He lived at 128 Woodbridge Drive, Apartment 99, and was a member of Vallejo Branch 8, Fleet Reserve Association.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Rachel Brown, and a daughter, Beverly, of Benicia; one brother, Ralph Brown of Molina, Ga., and one sister Erma Brown of Woodbury, Ga.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Twin Chapels. Chaplain R. H. Vitz will officiate and burial will be in the Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno.
Friends may call at Twin Capels after 6 p.m. today.

BROWN – In Vallejo, California, June 8, 1949, ROBERT WINTON BROWN; dearly beloved husband of Rachel R. Brown, devoted father of Beverly Brown, Benicia, California. Fond brother of Ralph Brown, Molina, Georgia and Erma Brown of Woodbury, Georgia.
A native of Georgia, Aged 54 years.
A member of Fleet Reserve Association, Branch No. i.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services Saturday morning, June 11, 1949, at 11:00 o’clock at TWIN CHAPELS, 100 Tennessee Street, Chaplain R. H. Citz, U.S.N. officiating.
Interment Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, California.
