Robert “Bobby” Fenus passed away Oct. 23, 2012, at his home in Mountain View.
He was born March 3, 1954, in Evanston, the son of Edward and Beth (Rasmussen) Fenus.
He married Patricia Jean Updike Dec. 20, 1993, in Manila, Utah.
Bobby enjoyed bowling, golfing and watching baseball and football, and especially enjoyed watching the Miami Dolphins. When Bob was not working on his job, his second love was working on the family ranch. He enjoyed his friends, always getting together and having fun. Later in life, he loved to travel by taking a cruise to Alaska, and just returning from the Caribbean.
Bob was a very positive person and always had a joke to tell with a smile and a chuckle. The last three years were a struggle, but he was determined to live life to the fullest. Twice a year, he would enjoy a trip with family and friends to Wendover, Nev., before and after haying season, and would enjoy trying to strike it rich, loving every minute of it.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia, of Mountain View; son Christopher (Chelsea) Fenus, of Evanston; his parents, Ed and Beth Fenus, of Mountain View; brother Gary (Bonnie) Fenus, of Mountain View; sisters Donna Bindl, of Mountain View, Penny (Ronny) Robbins, of Mountain View, and Marybeth (Sid) Sibert, also of Mountain View; three grandchildren, Lane Meyer, Kendra Meyer and Harleigh Fenus; stepdaughters Debra (Steve) Jordan, of Woodland, Colo., and Sandy Nihart, of Casper; stepson Tom (Vicki) Widiker, of Glenrock; and stepdaughters Jackie (Shawn) Harding, and Lisa White, both of Fruita, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Bobbi Jane; niece Cindy E. Bindl; and nephews, Edward Bindl Jr. and Sean Fenus.
