Ray S. Johnston

Ray S. Johnston, 55, of 2040 South 1900 West, Wilson Lane, died Wednesday afternoon at his home of a heart attack.
Born Nov. 8, 1915, in Brigham City, he was a son of Walter and Rachel Bowden Johnston.
On Sep. 30, 1935, he was married to Ruby Hunsaker in Brigham City.
He moved to Ogden in 1945 and had lived in Wilson Lane since 1959.
He was a member of the Wilson Lane LDS ward.
He was owner of Johnston Trucking Co. and Pete’s Cafe in Ogden, and was president of the Johnston Enterprises Inc.
Survivors
Surviving are his widow of Wilson Lane, one sone and two daughters: Dr. Gregory Ray Johnston, Mrs. Robert (Rae Ann) Garside, Mrs. Darrell (Judy) Butterfield, all of Ogden; 11 grandchildren; two brothers and four sisters, Roy L. Johnston, Ogden; Fred R. Johnston, Beaver; Mrs. Cliff (Ruth) Huggins, Mrs. John (Florence) Freeman, Mrs. Fred (Leona) Boyd, all of Brigham City; Mrs. Marv (Della) Olsen, Orem.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop Ted Parke officiating. Burial was in Washington Heights Memorial Parl.
