HOYTSVILLE – Ralph C. Wright, 72, Hoytsville, died yesterday at the home of a son, Dr. Eldred Wright, in Midvale.
Mr. Wright was born March 9, 1888, in Coalville, a son of William J. and Rose Carr Eaton Wright. He married Ruth Isabelle Gunn on Sept. 7, 1910, in Ogden. They later received endowments in the Salt Lake Temple. Mrs. Wright died Feb. 5, 1937. He married Clara K. Fernelius on Nov, 18, 1954.
He served as a member of the LDS Hoytsville Ward bishopric for eight years.
Surviving are his widow, Hoytsville; his son, Dr. Wright; a granddaughter, Mrs. Nadine W. O’Brien, Bountiful; tow stepsons and two stepdaughters, James R. Fernelius and Mrs. Alice Thompson, Uintah; Douglas K. Fernelius, Ogden; Ann F. Sborhora, Salt Lake City; one great-grandchild, two brothers and three sisters, George A. Wright, Midvale; John E. Wright, Salt Lake City; Mrs. D. W. Eskelson, Ogden; Mrs. H. E. Calderwood, Coalville; Mrs W. E. Calderwood, Henefer.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Hoytsville Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the family home tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday prior to services. Interment in Hoytsville Cemetery, directed by Patterson Mortuary in Coalville.
