Her ex-husband, Emmet Scrogan, died 30 September 1973 in Bloomington, Indiana. She died on 6 September 1989, in Vacaville, Solano, California, United States, at the age of 84, and was buried 13 September 1989 in Ogden, Weber, Utah, United States.
