Pfc. Paul G. Cardon, son of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Cardon, Logan, is missing in action in Germany.

Missing in action with the famous Timber Wolf division of the First army is Pfc. Paul G. Cardon, 34, son of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Cardon, 264 North Third East street, Logan.

Paul is well known here as a former employe of Logan Cold Storage and a sports enthusiast. The telegram to his folks said he is missing as of Nov. 27, in Germany. His wife, Irene Gooble Cardon, resides in Portland, Ore.

Born March 3, 1910, in Logan, Paul is a son of John P. and Mary S. Cardon. He was inducted into the army Dec. 8, 1942, and left for overseas service September of 1944. Awaiting further word are his wife and parents he has two brothers and a sister: Rulon Cardon of Lewiston, Ezra B. Cardon of Logan, a U. S. railway clerk employed at Ogden, and Katherine C. Heither of Pocatello, Ida.

Previously reported by the war department as missing Nov. 27, in action, Pfc Paul G. Cardon, 34, son of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Cardon, 264 North Third East street, is dead.

A telegram received by his folks stated that Paul was killed with the famous Timber Wolf division during fighting in Germany. Date of his death was given the same as that when he was first termed missing.

Wellknown here as a former employer of Logan Cold Storage and a sports enthusiast, Paul was the husband of Irene Gooble Cardon, Portland, Ore.

He was born March 3, 1910, in Logan, a son of John P. and Mary S. Cardon. He was inducted into the army Dec. 8, 1942, and left for overseas service September of 1944.

Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by two brothers and a sister: Rulon Cardon of Lewiston, Ezra B. Cardon of Logan, and Katherine C. Heither of Pocatello, Ida.

Pfc. Paul G. Cardon, 34, whose widow, Irene Gooble Cardon, lives in Portland, Ore., previously reported missing in action, Nov. 27, now is known to have been killed in action, relatives learned Wednesday. He served with the famed Tibr Wolf division of the First army.

A native of Logan, he was born March 3, 1910, a son of John P. and Mary Sorensen Cardon. Before entering service Dec. 8, 1942, he was an employe of the Logan cold storage plant and was active in Logan sports circles.

He trained at Camp Adair, Ore., later in Arizona and Colorado before going overseas in August.

Survivors include his widow; his parents, Logan; five brothers and sisters, Rulon Cardon, Lewiston; Ezra B. Cardon, Logan; Mrs. Katherine C. Heither and King Cardon, Pocatello, Ida., and Berly Ruchti, Los Angeles, Cal.
