Paul’s spirit and will were always incredibly strong. There was not one thing he couldn’t do. He loved to fish and camp, and achieved his Eagle Scout Award at the age of fifteen. He loved to serve those around him, and enjoyed every moment of his LDS service mission at Welfare Square Employment Services. He was passionate about learning, and graduated from Jordan High School, as well as Salt Lake Community College.
Paul filled his free time with computers and everything computer-related. He knew he could always count on his best friend, Matt Thomas to help him with his computers or anything else.
The oldest son of Allen and JoLynn Morton, he loved to remind his brother Jeromy who was actually in charge. Although he loved to ignite a quarrel, it was not hard to feel love when Paul was around. He gave his all to everything he did and everyone he met.
When his body could no longer contain his vibrant spirit, our Heavenly Father freed him early in the morning on July 19th. He will be deeply missed by many, especially those he is survived by. His parents, brother, grandparents Loree Morton (Pleasant Grove, UT), and Joseph and Dena Arns (Ruch, Oregon). His aunt (and second mom), Annette Ray and her husband Tom (Sandy, UT), uncle Paul Arns, his wife Cathy, his cousins Elizabeth and Joseph (Anchorage, Alaska), and many more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will always look to Paul as an inspiration.
Although we are sad to part with him, we know he has had a joyous reunion with his uncle Royit Arns and his cousin Ryan Morton.
