Mother-In-Law of Steven Lee Goodman
Patricia D. Ross, 60, a 47-year resident, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2006 after a lengthy illness, with her family at her side. She was born December 17, 1945 in San Francisco, CA and she helped operate Ross Roofing, the family business and was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Seaside Ward, where she faithfully served in various capacities. She found peace in humanitarian efforts by donating her time sewing and knitting clothing for third world children. Pat was a long-time foster parent for infants. She also enjoyed horseback riding, animals, and nature.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Richard G. Ross of Salinas; daughters, Shery (Steve) Goodman of Provo, UT, Janey (Jeremy) Cowdrey of Lehi, UT and Kara (Ross) Rowe of Virginia Beach, VA; son, Michael (Becki) Ross of Salinas; sister, Anita Clegg of Marina; brother, Dennis Passey of Carmel Valley and 12 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 2:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Seaside Ward, 1024 Noche Buena, Seaside, CA 93955. Burial will be at Monterey City Cemetery.
