MOUNTAIN VIEW– Funeral services for Nellie Dale (Ferguson) Byrne, 76, will be conducted on Saturday, July 21, 2007, at 1 p.m. at the Heart of the Valley Baptist Church in Mountain View with Pastor Joe Reynolds officiating.  Interment will follow services at the Fort Bridger Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held today from 6 to 8 p.m., at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston. 

She died July 18, 2007 at Care Source Hospice Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. 

She was born on Oct. 7, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Rome Dale and Nellie Rochford Ferguson. 

She married Earl H. Byrne on Oct. 7, 1953, in Mountain View and he preceded her in death on March 22, 1998. 

She was a member of Heart of the Valley Baptist Church in Mountain View. She was active in WMU, Sunday school, and choir, and other church activities. She belonged to the Bridger Valley Dames, and Senior Circle. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and great-grandchildren. 

She is survived by three daughters, Ruth Barclay and her husband of Fort Bridger, Neta Jenkins and her husband of Mountain View and Joanie Byrne; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a stepbrother, Kim Ferguson, of Charleston, W.Va. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Care Source Hospice Center, 1624 E. 4500 S. Salt Lake City, UT. 84117.

Arrangements are under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home of Evanston.
