Neal Merlin Northrop passed away September 12, 2003, in Murray, Utah.
Born in Inez, NE June 6, 1915, to Merlin Birdsel and Lovey Paget Northrop. Married Mable Florence Alexander July 25, 1936; she preceded him in death Feb 12, 1998.
Neal loved to travel, liked animals and especially horses and was an animal trainer for numerous movie studios in L.A. Enjoyed cowboy poetry and kept busy with personal and family projects. Owner and operator of a trucking company that ran between Twin Falls and numerous cities in Alaska. Operated farm equipment business in the latter years of his life.
Survived by daughter, Leone Black; sons, Leon Eddie (Sherrie) Northrop, John (Sharon) Northrop; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and sister, Doris Jean Rebensdorf.
Family and friends may gather Tues. Sept 16, 2003, 1 p.m. Murray City Cemetery 5600 S. Vine St. Directors Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary.
