Natalie Egleston, 48, of Ardmore, PA, and recently of San Francisco, CA, died in a tragic skiing accident in Aspen, Colorado, on February 4, 2013.
Natalie graduated from Germantown Academy in Fort Washington, PA and received a BS in Business Management and Marketing from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. She spent the first 10 years of her career in New York City in the banking industry, much of it focused on retail and apparel. At MediaOne Group in Denver and as a General Partner at Allegis Capital in San Francisco, she spent the next 8 years investing and strategically partnering with emerging media and broadband technology companies. During her 7 years at Premier Retail Networks (now IZ-ON Media) she rose to the position of Chief Strategy Officer and was recently named President of their indoorDIRECT JV Services, a company that specializes in entertainment networks for restaurants.
She was well known as a pioneer in the digital out-of-home industry, launching and growing several ad-based networks in many major retailers across the country including Wal-mart, Costco, Target, Home Depot, and McDonalds. She oversaw place-based media networks in 8,550+ retail locations reaching more than 181 Million commercial viewers each month.
Natalie was an avid skier who started at a young age and enjoyed skiing with her family at their vacation home in Vermont during her teenage years. Her love of skiing brought her together with her partner, Ron, who shared the same passion. In addition to skiing, she was very active and enjoyed tennis, biking, camping, dancing, worldwide travel and photography. She loved fashion and, as many know, kept her mother and sister well dressed. As an accomplished cook, she took great pride in throwing engaging and fabulous dinner parties. Most importantly, she had an infectious spirit and generous heart, always willing to help colleagues better their careers and never hesitating to share thoughtful gifts with her friends and family. She had recently moved back to the Philadelphia area to be closer to Ron and her family.
In addition to her mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Richard McAdams, Sr. (Gwen), and her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Egleston (Louisa), she is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Graham (Julie), her brother, Brian Egleston, and her loving partner, Ron Konsza. Natalie is also survived by her step-sisters, June Cameron, Laureen Letizio and Monica Caffrey, her step-brothers, Richard McAdams, Jr., Michael McAdams, William Moffly and David Moffly, her uncle, Douglas Whitnell, and her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Rogers (Judy). She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
