UINTAH. Weber County – Mrs. Minnie Catherine Byrne Kendall, 88, died Saturday at her home of causes incident to age. Born Dec. 11, 1871, Piedmont, Wyo. to Moses and Catherine Cardon Byrne. Educated in Piedmont and came to Uintah at age 16 with parents. Served as secretary, councilor and president of Relief Society in Uintah Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Had been a nurse in Utah and Idaho, also worked with Red Cross. Married to Frederick William Kendall March 16, 1892, Logan LDS Temple. He died 20 years ago. Survivors, sons, daughters, George E., Mrs. Cleavy (Etta) Fernelius, Ogden; Albert F., Mrs Norman (Gretta) Anderson, Mrs. Clara K. Wright, Uintah; Francis R., Martinez, Calif.; 22 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral, Tuesday, 1 p.m., Aultorest Mortuary Chapel, where friends call Monday, 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday prior. Burial, Uintah Cemetery.
