EVANSTON – Services for Mary M. Dean, 84, of Evanston, who died Dec. 11, 1989, at the Evanston Regional Hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston.
Mrs. Dean was born May 6, 1905, in Piedmont, Wyo., to George Thomas and Anna (Swartfager) Guild. On June 23, 1924, she married Delmar David Dean in Mountain View. He died Aug. 13, 1986.
Survivors include one sone, Roy Dean of Seattle, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Veda) Byrne of Evanston, and Mrs. Bruce (Anna Lou) Nelson of Seattle; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Evanston City Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to a favorite charity.
