MURRAY – Mary Jane Merrill Angell Bevan, 48, died October 27, in a Salt Lake Hospital.

Born May 8, 1935, Salt Lake City to Cardon and Lida Jeffries Merrill, married Donald T. Angell, 1953; later divorced. Married LaMar R. Bevan, June 3, 1972, marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church. Served as Stake Relief Society President, was a piano and organ teacher.

Survivors: Husband, Murray; sons, Cardon T. “Toby”, Salt Lake City; Cory D., Sandy; step-son and daughter, Charles W. Bevan, West Valley City; Mrs. Lynn (Annette) Roberts, Magna; nine grandchildren; brother, Y.D. Eskelson, Richard Eskelson, both Salt Lake City; preceded in death by first husband, Donald and step-daughter, Maria M. Hansen.

Funeral services were held Monday at Murray 8th LDS Ward Chapel.
