Burial services were held today for Martha L. Swartfager who died Sunday at the age of 72.
Mass was said at St. James Church and interment was private at Cypress Hill Memorial Park. There was a recitation of the rosary Sunday evening at Sorensen Funeral Home.
She was born in Orcutt and attended a number os schools. She resided in the San Francisco Bay area most of her life and lived last in Santa Rosa.
She was a member of the Culinary, Bartenders and Service Employees Union of San Francisco.
She is survived by a daughter, Marjorie Comyns of Petaluma; two sons, Lloyd Neilson of San Francisco and Stuart Neilson of Denair; two sisters, Mary Arbuthnot of Tracy and Ruth Allen of Southern California; also nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
