Marilyn Larsen Cardon, 72, of Lehi, Utah passed away on Monday, June 22, 2009 due to complications of heart surgery. She was born May 8, 1937 to Ernest Hans Larsen and Charlotte Grace Austin in Lehi, Utah. She was the oldest and only daughter of 6 children.
She married Kenneth J. Cardon on November 22, 1957 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Marilyn graduated from Lehi High School in 1956 and also attended Stevens Henegar College. She worked many years at Larsen’s Herb Shop and loved music, plays, traveling, shopping with friends and serving in the church. Being a wife, mother and grandmother were her greatest accomplishments.
She was preceded in death by her parents and younger brother, Douglas Kay. She is survived by her husband, four brothers; Paul, Bob, Jon and Ray, daughter Anita Uden, four sons; Kevin, Larry, Russell and Wade, 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lehi 17th LDS Ward, 900 North 1600 East. Family and friends may call Thursday evening June 25, 2009 from 7-9:00 p.m. at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi and Friday morning one hour prior to service at the church.
