Mansel E. Taylor of Safford Dies at Age of 42

SAFFORD (Special) – Funeral services for Mansel Eugene Taylor, 42, will be at Safford ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 10 a.m. Monday, with the Bishop Weldon Malloy officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, with military and BPOE graveside rites.

Taylor, a native of Colonia Dublan, Mex., a Safford resident for 29 years and an Arizona Highway Dept. employee here for the past five years, died unexpectedly Thursday.

Survivors include his wife Nellie; sons Gene and Ray of Safford and A-2C Ricky of Peru, Ind.; parents Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Taylor and brother Ernest, all of Safford, and two sisters, Mrs. Vangee Costello and Mrs. Minnie Landis, both of Phoenix.

Caldwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mansel Eugene Taylor Dies in Safford at 42

SAFFORD-Services for Mansel Eugene Taylor, 42, will be held at 10 a.m tomorrow in the Safford Ward of the LDS Church.

Mr. Taylor died Thursday in Safford Inn Hospital.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Firends may call at Caldwell Funeral Home, 112 E. Main St., from 4 to 7 p.m. today and from 8 a.m until service time tommorow.

Mr. Taylor was born in Colonia Dublan, Mexico, and came to Safford 29 years ago. For the past five ears he worked for the Arizona Higway Department here.

Survivors include his wife, Nellie; sons Gene and Ray of Safford and Airman 2C Ricky Taylor of Peru, Ind.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Taylor and a brother, Ernest, all of Safford; and two sisters, Mrs. Vangee Costello and Mrs. Minnie Landis, both of Phoenix.
