Mabel Alexander
BUHL – Mabel Alexander, 84, died in a Wendell nursing home Tuesday.
Born Nov. 19, 1891, at Piedmont, Wyo.
She married James Alexander at Evanston, Wyo., July 20, 1908. He died in 1947. She then married Charles Alexander in 1966. he died on Feb 12, 1976.
She came to the Buhl area in 1918, where she lived on her farm until her retirement in 1946 when she moved into Buhl.
She was a member of the LDS Church.
Her survivors include four sons, Ray, Buhl; John, Granger, Utah; Delbert, Castleford; Leslie, Magna, Utah; two daughters, Mrs. Mable Northrup of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Bob (Catherine) Anderson, Hagerman; one sister, Mrs. Murray Sharp, Fort Bridger, Wyo.; one brother, Henry Byrne, Randolph, Utah; 20 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Buhl LDS Chapel with Bishop Hal Walker officiating. Final rites will be in the West End Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dickard and Farmer Chapel all day Thursday until 8 p.m. and until the time of services Friday.
