Lucy Garrett Barlow, 80, died Wednesday, Oct 31 at the home of a daughter in Santa Monica, Calif.
SHE WAS BORN May 7, 1882, in Bountiful, a daughter of Henry and Hannah Day Garrett. She married Edmund F. Barlow, Jun 18, 1903, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died in January 1960.
She had been a resident of Santa Monica since 1930.
SURVIVORS: sons and daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Ruth) Green, I. Haven Barlow, Layton; D. McKay Barlow, Los Angeles; E. Garret Barlow, Mrs. Lindsay (Virginia) Humphrey, Mrs. Marvin (Esther) Cardon, Mrs. Estel (Helen) Wilkinson, Mrs. Harold (Lucy) Hansen, all of Santa Monica.
Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Mrs. Rose Burningham, Mrs. Elizabeth Atkinson; and Mrs. David (Martha) Wiseman of Bountiful; Jed, Edward and Joseph Garrett of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ida Hepworth of Centerville, Mrs. Joseph (Mabel) Keiffer of Los Angeles; 34 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES were held Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. in the Santa Monica First and Second LDS ward chapel. Burial was in the Santa Monica Cemetery.
