Louise passed away unexpectedly July 9, 2012, two weeks before her 70th birthday.
Louise was the third of four children born to Warren Heber and Beth Cardon Dean in Beaver, Utah on July 21, 1942.
Louise was funny, kind, and had a delightful laugh she giggled in her own quiet way. In 1957, the family moved to Bountiful, Utah. When she was 15 years old her father passed away, a profound loss as she loved her father dearly. She graduated later from Bountiful High School. Louise married her high school sweetheart, Darl Hansen, September of 1960 in the Salt Lake Temple. She moved frequently throughout the intermountain west with Darl’s employment. She was an artist, accomplished in oil, watercolor, pottery, and quilting. She loved dance and started a ballet school in Hardin, Montana. She was an expert gardener and canned produce from her garden. With her husband, she served an 18-month service mission for the LDS church in 2009-10 in the Salt Lake City neighborhood of Rose Park. Louise spent her life selflessly serving her family and church in various callings. Her greatest joy and aspiration was being a mother and homemaker.
She leaves behind her grieving husband, Darl Leon Hansen, her older brothers James and Donald as well as her younger sister Julie, 6 children and 12 grandchildren. She was the dedicated mother of Michael (Cheri), Robert (Judy), Christine (Michael), Mary (Gerard), Arthur, and Matthew (Tracy).
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. at the LDS church located at 165 South 1000 East in Bountiful on Saturday, July 14, 2012. Interment: Bountiful City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to the Louise Dean Hansen Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank.
