Our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and devoted friend, Linda Sue Reaves Farnsworth O’Dell, passed away surrounded by family and loved ones on Friday, May 12, 2023. Linda Sue Reaves was born in El Paso, Texas on July 28, 1941, to parents Bernard Jackson Reaves and Margaret Jane Cardon. Linda spent her formative years in El Paso and grew up a true Texan.
She moved to Arizona where she settled and raised her family. Linda was truly loved by so many including her husband Elwood “Woody” O’Dell, her late sister Bonnie (Bob) Taylor, brother Jack (Diana) Reaves, six children, four step-children and their spouses, Kevin L. (Dennise) Farnsworth, Kelly D. (Aubri) Farnsworth, Kristi L. (Mike) Gale, Owen K. (Jeannie) Farnsworth, A. Kent (Kim) Farnsworth, Kimberly (Eric) Huffaker, Troy (Rose) O’Dell, Charles (Toni) O’Dell, Connie (Stewart) Clark, and Dee Ann Reilly.
She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 20 step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 10:00am with a viewing at 9:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6001 S Lakeshore Dr, Tempe, AZ 85283.
A graveside service will take place at the Mesa Cemetery after the church services, 1212 N Center St, Mesa, AZ 85201.
