Bountiful, UT-Lillian Perry Roundy, age 89, died on January 3, 2014, in Bountiful, Utah. She was born on April 10, 1924, in Ogden, Utah, to Lester I. Perry and Rosina Pearl Shaw Perry. She married Morton C. (Chet) Roundy on December 8, 1949.
Lillian was active in the LDS Church serving in several callings, her favorite being librarian, and as a Bountiful Temple ordinance worker. She served as a 4-H leader for many years.
She was a homemaker and worked part-time at Cummings Candy Company and other various jobs. She loved gardening and family history, collecting many oral histories. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Chet; sons, Ron Roundy and Dave (Sylvia) Roundy; daughters, Judy (Brett) Johnson and Sandi Roundy; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Deola Perry; and brother, Bruce Perry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bill and Lester; and sister, June Foy.
A viewing will be held Tuesday evening, January 7, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Bountiful 24th Ward Chapel located at 720 E 550 N. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at 11:00am at the same location. A short viewing will be held prior to services at 10:00a.m.
Interment to take place at Lake View Memorial Cemetery Bountiful, Utah.
