Lewis P. Byrne

Lewis P. Byrne, 56, of 378 Harrisville Road, died at the family home today at ten a. m. following a month’s illness.

He was born July 6, 1887, in Piedmont, Wyo., a son of John and Edith Ingersoll Byrne. In 1928, he came to Ogden where he has lived since. He was engaged in ranching and during the war period has been employed at various defense plants.

He is survived by his widow, the former Ruby Brown, and the following sons and daughters: Phillip Edward Byrne and John James Byrne, Ogden; Clarence Roy, U. S. army; Mrs. Floyd (Edith Ruby) Clark, Bonneville Park; Mrs. Alvin (Mary Ellen) Barker, Los Angeles; James Brown Byrne and Lewis Dennis Byrne, Harrisville; brothers and sisters Mrs. Mable Alexander, Buhl, Ida.; Robert Byrne, Lyman, Wyo.; Walter Byrne, Piedmont, Wyo.; Mrs. Jack (Myrtle Edna) Mash, Harrisville; Herny Byrne, Randolph; Mrs. Murray (Mary Edith) Sharp, Leroy, Wyo., and Mrs. James (Susanna Clair) Garley, Winnemucca, Nev.

The body is at the mortuary, 466 Twenty-fourth.
