LOGAN – Mrs. Letty Turner Cardon, 78, of Logan and Ogden, died Sunday of natural causes in an Ogden hospital.
Mrs. Cardon was born March 4, 1895, in Logan, a daughter of Fredrick and Carolyn Hyde Turner.
She was married to Lewis Rasmussen on June 14, 1914. They were divorced. She was married to Bartlie T. Cardon on June 9, 1941, in Logan. He died.
She was a member of the Ladies Literary Club and DUP.
She was a former resident of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Salt Lake City.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. E. LeRoy (Grace) Anderson, Ogden; Mrs. John H. (Jane) Broberg, Logan; the following stepsons and stepdaughters; Phillip Cardon, Logan; Mrs. Kenneth (Joan) Vanderhoff, American Falls, Idaho; Mrs. Carl (Gayle) Smith, Rexburg, Idaho; Mrs. Jean (Annette) Carlos, Salt Lake City; Mrs. John (LuJean) Evans, Spokane, Wash.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters; S. M. Turner, Mrs. C. A. (Jennie) Lundahl, both of Logan; Mrs. Henry (May P.) Crockett, Los Angeles; Mrs Grace Rasmussen, Mrs. M. B. (Clara) Wilhalt, both of Glendale, Calif.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Hall Mortuary Chapel in Logan.
There will be no viewing.
Burial will be in Hyde Park Cemetery. Family suggests donations to the Sunshine Terrace Foundation.
