Le Grand Heiner Guild was born 13 May 1907 at Lyman, Uinta, Wyoming.  LeGrand died 17 May 1980 at Snohomish, Snohomish, Washington, and was buried 21 May 1980 at Snohomish, Snohomish, Washington.  He married Mary Elizabeth Patterson 8 Oct 1937 at Oregon.  She was born 12 Oct 1901 at Oregon, the daughter of Cyrus Clair Patterson and Blanch Elizabeth Baird.  Mary died at Snohomish, Snohomish, Washington, and was buried at Snohomish, Snohomish, Washington.  (From “The Descendants of Charles Guild and Mary Madaline Cardon” by Susan Thomas Tippets February 1996.)


LeGrand (Lee) Guild

LeGrand (Lee) Guild, 73, of Snohomish, died May 16, 1980, in a Redmond hospital, following heart failure.

He was born May 13, 1907, in Lyman, Wyoming. He resided in Snohomish 42 years, from Hepner, Oregon. Mr. Guild retired in 1968 with 33 years in soil conservation service. He was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Snohomish Lion’s Club, Port Orchard Grange, graduate class 1935 with a B.A. in agronomy from the University of Wyoming, and later did graduate work at Washington State University.

He is survived by his wife Mary, his son Robert of Snohomish, daughter, Mrs. James (Mary Lee) Tucker of Everett; brother Loren, Wheatland Wyoming; sisters, Katie Walker from Lyman, Wyoming, Mrs. Paul (LaRue) Slette, Barstow, and Olive Barber of Los Angeles, Calif., numerous nieces and nephews.

Services Wednesday 10:30 a.m. St. John’s Episcopal Church, Snohomish, under the direction of Purdy and Dawson Chapel, Snohomish. Committal services Thursday 10:30 a.m. Masonic Cemetery, Hepner, Ore. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or St. John’s Episcopal Church.
