Mrs. Laura Jane Cooper Cardon, 82, of Ogden, formerly of St. Anthony, Idaho, died Sunday in an Ogden Nursing home of natural causes.
Mrs. Cardon was born March 29, 1893 in Arimo, Idaho, a daughter of Vincent Dimmick and Celia Jane Woodland Cooper.
On Dec. 31, 1917, she was married to Raymond Hinckley Cardon in Logan. He died in 1956.
She had lived most of her life in St. Anthony, coming to Ogden eight years ago.
She graduated from Utah State University with a bachelors degree in home economics in 1918.
She was a member of the LDS Church, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in St. Anthony.
Surviving are one son and one daughter, Ray C. Cardon, Ogden; Mrs. George (Joan) Ioset, Elko, Nev.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Grave side services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Aultorest Memorial Park.
Friends may call at Lindquist and Sons Mortuary Tuesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. The family requests contributions be made to a favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
