Kevin Neville Cardon was born May 12, 1965, to Grover Leonard Cardon and Noel Neville Cardon in Grand Junction, Colorado. He died October 10, 2013 at his home in West Valley City, Utah. He was the eldest of his brothers and sisters: G. Paul Cardon, Katie Sue Cardon Edwards, Bruce R. Cardon, Kerolann Cardon Haslam, Julie Mae Cardon, and Christa Cardon Harding. He married Maria M. Rodas in 1987. Leon Cardon, Kimberly Noel Cardon Wagstaff (Glen), and Kamille Mercedes Cardon are their children. His grandson is Toby Wagstaff. He married Melody Hubert in 2005, with a son, Brandon McNear. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Our beloved Kevin will be remembered for his loving heart, generous nature, quick wit and funny humor, strong body and will, and independent nature. He was a skilled machinist, an excellent guitarist, and a lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, bicycling, soccer, horseshoes, and other sports with his friends. A family prayer service was held on Saturday, October 19th at 11:00 a.m., and a memorial gathering followed between noon and 2:00 p.m for friends and family to visit in the Orchard 6th Ward cultural hall on 600 North and 1120 East in Orem.
