Kenneth Cardon Evans

EVANS, Kenneth Cardon “Kenny” Born April 4, 1942, in Logan, Utah entered into rest July 22, 2015. Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lou Jean and two brothers, Jackie and Brian. He is survived by his five children: Greg (Gail), Todd (Julie), Scott (Amy), Brett (Peggy) and Marcy Larson (Chris); three sisters, Diane, Jennifer, Nancy and one brother, Steve. Kenny had numerous grand and great-grandchildren. 

He spent four years in the Air Force as an airframe repairman. After being honorably discharged, he worked for a short time at the Continental Baking Company. It was after that Kenny started his career as a top salesman in the furniture business. He worked several years for Sylvan Furniture. Eventually Kenny went on to travel the United States closing out furniture stores. 

Kenny enjoyed the game of golf and was able to join his kids and his brother Steve on the course often the last few years of his life. He was a very caring and giving individual. He practiced the art of motivational speech with many of his close friends and family. He was a wonderful role model for forgiveness and love and most of all appreciation. 

There will be a memorial service at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Rd, Medical Lake, WA on Friday, July 31, 2015 3:00pm. A potluck and celebration of life will be held immediately following at a family residence. Please contact family for more details. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kenny’s honor can be made to St. Judes, UNICEF or the Union Gospel Mission.
