Kay Giles Fries of Rescue, California passed away on the 9th of September 2014 from the consequences of an automobile accident.
She was born March 4th, 1946 to Netta Rachel Cardon and Rober Floyd Giles. She married Otis Rex Fries May 30th, 1963 in Declo, Idaho. They had 6 children. They were later divorced.
She is survived by her mother Netta Rachel Giles, her stepfather Glenn Baum, her children Steven Ray (Stefani) Fries, Cherie Lynn Fries, Melissa Ann (Mark) Huan, and Matthew Fries. She is also survived by her sister Colleen (David) Moyes, a brother David (Nita) Giles and a brother Craig (Evyon) Giles. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Floyd Giles, her brother Robert Cardon Giles, and her children Christopher Lee Fries and Rachel Kay Jones.
A funeral service was held at noon, Saturday, September 13, 2014, at the East Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3275 Cedar Ravine Rd, Placerville, CA. A viewing preceded the service at 11 am.
Her remains were cremated, and the ashes given to a friend.
