MOUNTAINVIEW, WYO.–Joseph Myrl Byrne, 60, Mountainview, died Thursday in an Evanston hospital after a long illness. Born April 3, 1898, to Joseph and Winifred Muford Byrne. Married Lavella Decker, Aug. 12, 1922. Rancher at Robertson, Wyo., since 1933. Survivors: three sons, Jack and Earl, both of Mountainview; Harold, Evanston; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Leslie, Evanston; Ralph, Keating. Ore.; sister, Mrs. B. M. Green, Robertson. Funeral Saturday 1 p.m., Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel, Mountainview. Friends call R. E. Bryan Mortuary, Evanston, Friday, Mountainview LDS chapel, Saturday three hours prior. Burial Fort Bridger Cemetery.

Joseph M. Byrne
EVANSTON – Joseph Myrl Byrne, 60, died Thursday in an Evanston hospital after an extended illness.
Mr. Byrne was born April 3, 1898, in Almy, Wyo., a son of Joseph and Winifred Mumpford Byrne. On Aug. 12, 1922, he married Lavella Decker in Richland, Ore. They had lived on a ranch near Robertson, Uinta County, since 1935. Mrs. Byrne died Feb. 21, 1956.
Surviving are three sons, Jack and Earl Byrne, Mountain View; Harold Byrne, Evanston; eight grandchildren, two brothers, C. Leslie Byrne, Evanston; Ralph L. Byrne Keating, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. B. M. (Myrtle) Green, Robertson, Wyo.
Funeral services were conducted today.
