WILSON-John McIntyre Wilson, 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1939, died Monday, December 19, 1994. He is survived by his wife Zelma Finley Wilson of Albuquerque; children, Joan W. Clark and husband, Robert A. Clark of Albuquerque, Donna W. Eilar and husband, John of Albuquerque, and John McIntyre Wilson, Jr. and wife Debbie of Parker, CO; stepchildren, Janine Crabtree and husband, Booth of West Point, UT, Howard Finley of Phoenix, AZ, Cecilia Mager of Albuquerque, Kathleen Cantley of Albuquerque, Mari Lombardi and husband, Tom of Colorado Springs, CO, and Skip Finley and wife, Monica of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Denise c. Sprague and husband, Tim of Orangevale, CA, Robert W. Clark of Provo, UT, Christi C. Hatch and husband, Stanley of Albuquerque, Julie B. Sly and husband, Michael of Springvale, UT, Cynthia J. Upcurch and husband, Jim of Durango, CO, Patricia J. Eilar of Albuquerque, Gary W. Eilar of Albuquerque, J. Gregory Wilson and wife, Kerrie of Colorado, Mark Wilson of Parker, CO, and David C. Wilson of Parker, CO; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, J. Ansel Wilson and wife, Trelva of Walnut Creek, CO; and sister, Grace Johnson of Marysville, CA. Mr. Wilson was preced in death by his first wife, Rhoda Fern Cardon Wilson; sisters Ruth Dana and Beth Romney; and brother, Melvin Wilson. He was a Captain in the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Wilson retired after 30 years of service to the Department of the Interior as Immigration Inspector, responsible for New Mexico. He was a Real Estate Broker for Jake Umbridge Company, and also worked in the Chemistry Department for the University of New Mexico. Mr. Wilson was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints throughout his life. He was a beloved and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and was a respected member of the community. Services will be held Thursday, 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints – Haines Street Chapel, 5709 Hanes Avenue NE, with Gerald Robertson conduction. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be his five grandsons, Robert W. Clark, Garly W. Eilar, J. Gregory Wilson, Mark Milson, and David C. Wilson. Friends may visit French Motuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
