Jesse Leo Cardon

MESA – Jesse Leo Cardon, 81, a retired motel operator, died Saturday in his home at 2112 W. First St.

Born in Taylor, Mr. Cardon came to Mesa six months ago from California. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie; two sons, Seth D. of Mesa and Emanuel G. of Castle Rock, Colo.; six daughters, Mrs. Clara Blake of Phoenix, Mrs. Verla Yager of Denver, Mrs Vilda Brenay of Mesa, Mrs. Wanda Morrill of Orem, Utah, Mrs. Nellie Foote of Safford and Mrs, Mary Naylor of Castle Rock; 34 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. His first wife, Frances Maude Farnsworth, preceded him in death.

Services and burial will be in El Paso, Tex. M. L. Gibbons Mortuary handled arrangments.
